Pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum period are challenging for many women, but can be especially so for sexual abuse survivors .What’s seldom mentioned is that an elective C-section can feel like the safer, potentially non-triggering birth experience for some sexual abuse survivors. Let’s try to remember that when we mention the value of C-sections for some women.
