Thank you for your comment JulianGiulio. You are not alone! Sleep and satisfaction in intimacy are real challenges for sexual abuse survivors. Nighttime in general can be triggering for survivors. One thing to consider in supporting both is what steps you might take to feel safer. For intimacy that can be clearer communication about what feels right and/or what kind of touch is wanted. And for sleep that might be a weighted blanket or intentional breathing or other self-care activities before you get into bed for sleep. Good luck to you!
